Avec La Nouvelle Zélande

Le LGT GAY LUSSAC possède un appariement avec le lycée de filles  EPSOM GIRLS GRAMMAR SCHOOL ( www.eggs.school.nz ) d’Auckland en Nouvelle-Zélande.  Ce lien est le fruit  d’un travail collaboratif qui a débuté en Novembre 2013 sur le centenaire de la Grande Guerre entre les lycéens du LGT Gay Lussac , du Gutenberg Gymnasium de Bergheim et ceux d’EPSOM dans le cadre du programme académique « Histoires Partagées, Mémoires Héritées » entre la Picardie et la Nouvelle Zélande . Ce projet labellisé «  mission centenaire » intitulé «  Nos Fils, Nos Familles « (http://www.sharedhistories.com/what/projects) a abouti en Avril  2015 à la réalisation d‘une fresque commémorative, une exposition publique des travaux de recherche et de création communs  et à l’accueil  de 42 élèves d’EPSOM au sein de notre lycée et des familles d’élèves.

 En 2016-2017, 3 élèves néo-zélandaises d’EPSOM doivent être accueillies  pour 4 semaines en Décembre 2016  et les 3 lycéennes les ayant prises en charge seront accueillies à EPSOM  Auckland à leur tour .

En Avril 2017, une trentaine d’élèves d’EPSOM viendront passer quelques jours au LGT GAY LUSSAC et seront hébergés par les familles d’élèves volontaires, leur permettant ainsi de tisser des liens durables et enrichissants.

 Gay Lussac High School has an exchange programme with EPSOM GIRLS GRAMMAR SCHOOL (www.eggs.school.nz )  of Auckland in New Zealand. This link results from a collaborative work  between Gay Lussac, Gutenberg Gymnasium of Bergheim and EPSOM students  . It dealt with the centenary of the Great War and started in Novembre 2013 within the frame of an academic programme named « Shared Histories «  between Picardie and New Zealand. This project entitled «  Our Sons, Our Families » (http://www.sharedhistories.com/what/projects)  resulted in the making of a «  Remembrance Wall «, a public exhibition of all the students’ creative and research work and in the coming  to our school and the  hosting of 42 students from EPSOM in April 2015 .

In 2016-2017, 3 students from EPSOM should come to GAY LUSSAC for 4 weeks in December 2016 and the 3 French students whose families hosted the girls from EPSOM should leave for Auckland and EPSOM in their turn.

In April 2017 about 30 students from EPSOM will come and spend a few days in GAY LUSSAC and be hosted in the students ‘families who will volunteer for it, which should give students the opportunity to develop lasting and enriching links.
